Calculating Dilution Ratios

(This section is to be used as a guide only.)

The full capacity of the PRIMA Bathing System is fourteen gallons. To figure how much shampoo to add for the amount of water in the tank by dilution ratio, use the quick reference chart that is included with your system. There is a copy of the chart listed below to help clarify any questions.

To calculate how many cups of shampoo to get a certain dilution ratio, use this formula:

To calculate how many cups of shampoo to add for a full 14 Gal tank:

For example if you wanted a 30 to 1 dilution ratio, you would divide by 30.

If you wanted 60 to 1 ratio and were only adding 8 gallons:

If you are adding to a batch leftover from previous usage, do the calculation for only the amount of water you are ADDING.

For Example:
1. Note how much solution is remaining in the tank.
2. Determine the amount of fluid you want to add.
3. Determine what ratio you want to use.
4. Consult reference chart below or plug numbers into formula to determine the amount of shampoo to add.
